Happy LGBTQIA+ Pride Month

Pride rose from the ashes of the June 28, 1969, six-day Stonewall Riots in New York. The Stonewall Inn was an LGBTQIA+ bar on Christopher Street. Because homosexuality was illegal as was cross dressing, law enforcement often raided the inn and hauled “homosexuals” off to jail.
